i really hope i could have the chance...
maybe move to a country that has 4 seasons,

having the experience of snow during winter.

making a snowman,etc...
someone i know is experiencing that now...
i envy her a lot...
making all that new friends,
her life is full for excitement.
studying aboard also can help you forget all the
bad memories here in singapore.
starting a totally new life there...
even if it means losing all your friends
and family (etc.cousins) here in Singapore.

7 February 2010,Sunday.
this week have been a fast and
relax week with only 3 1/2 schooling days.
because of my school 10 year anniversary.
how i wish school will always
have 10 year anniversary every week :D
spent the "rest days" to celebrate my birthday
and YANHONG's birthday.
my birthday was a bbq at my hse,
and yanhong was to eat fish & co.
went back to church early to celebrate
v.day event by my church.
so it was a pretty busy week for me.
next week is going to a hectic week,
with tests almost everyday,
i think i will simply break down,
anyway thinking how to celebrate
my actual birthday which falls on the 9 of feb.
anyone has any ideas?

the month is coming to a end.
school life is getting used to it.
soon it will be my special day,
today i wanna post on what i'm afraid of,

yeap it is spiders,
i used to catch spiders when i was in primary school,
they will be kept it "stapler bullets containers"
and they will be kept for our pleasure,
we have fighting spider competition during recess,
i caught a spider that looks the picture above.
when i looked at the spider's face,
i had a shock of my life,
i saw 4 eyes looking at me which gave me a terrified feeling,
from that moment onwards,
i have had a "thing" about spiders.
come tell me what you are afraid of in my tagbox.
i will be waiting=)

here to blog before i knock off,
school has became more stress as each day passes,
as everyone knew,
chinese is a subject which i despice,
have been thinking whether to drop it,
the teachers want me to drop,
but my heart tells me otherwise.
damn stress now...
anyway today i thought i saw my ex-schoolmate(ziyang)
he was at the car pouch,
i stood still as the guy turn and i saw his face,
it came to my senses that my schoolmates
are not around in school anymore,
used to play basketball after school but nowadays,
i just keep going home after school,
lots of things has changed.
really hope for the past.
hate to move on with life.

school life is boring,
haven't have the time to play,
everyone is trying to go back into study mode.
i miss the times when i was in sec4,
everywhere i look i saw familiar faces.
nowadays, i just see faces of unknown people.
miss the times when everywhere i walked to,
i can easily find someone to talk to,
i really regretted not studying during sec3
and dropping to normal stream.
if not now i will be either working
or sleeping late at home now.

school has started,
a bad start of sch for me?
morning assembly and i was sent home,
because of my dyed hair.
(my father still say never mind one,
is they over sensitive)
went back to school after slacking at home.
was extremely tired so went home straight to sleep.
Tomorrow, my studying life will be turned on again,
hope i wouldn't get too stress
and grow lots of white hair:D

today will be the start of school,
stopped working a week ago
and enjoyed the lasts of my holidays.
i uploaded photos on the trip to Korea on facebook.
another year of major exams to overcome.
another year of trusting friends,
and another year of being hurt by them.
hope that i will continue to know what direction
i'm headed and meet my destination.
as this year begin,
i have 3 new year resolutions.
firstly,
not to lose the friends i have,
as we move on to different school and walks of lives.

It has been like decades,
since i lasted blog.
came back from korea,
fell ill when back.
i didn't get to shop as the tour only have
time for sight see-ing and theme parks.
manage to play all the roller coaster there :D
as amelia dared me to.
went there during their

it sucks as i didn't get to see snow.

guess i'm just unlucky.
went back to work after that.
a lot of thing changed at work.
i lost some of my friends
and we are now acting like strangers.
guess it doesn't matter as
i'm going to quit my job soon=(

only family will be there for

i enjoy working during this holiday,

A totally new life have started,

FAMILY
my mum's operation went smoothly,
(thanks to those who msged me to ask me how was she)
now she has 3 pieces of titanium in her toes.
next time can talk out make
spectacles when she's dead.
(joke that i and my mum said)
i feel that i'm getting closer to my family=)

WORK
worked for one week already.
made quite a number of new friends,
the work is still alright,
just hate some of the supervisors there.
actually is only two=x
if you visit me at my work place,
you will be hearing me say
"HELLO,WELCOME TO UNIQLO!"
and
"THANK YOU,HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN!"
i have need saying this for over hundreds of times.
it's like a daily thing to me now...

GOD
as i started work,
i have been drifting away from god.
i really have no time for him
(i know it's an excuse)
got to set my priority right again!

yesterday was graduation day.

just wanna share this story about a tortoise and hippo

A Hippo and Tortoise Tale

It sounds like a fable or a fairy tale. The main characters are an orphaned baby hippopotamus and a 130-year-old giant tortoise. The hippo was rescued from a natural disaster of biblical proportions, and the tortoise was meant to be dinner a century ago. But the story of Owen the hippo and Mzee the tortoise is absolutely true.

The animals are both the wards of Dr. Paula Kahumbu, general manager of Lafarge Ecosystems, which runs a sanctuary in Mombasa, Kenya. She tells Jennifer Ludden the story of a highly unlikely friendship and the children's book she helped write to tell the tale.

Foreword from 'Owen & Mzee'

December 26th, 2004 started off as a normal, quiet day. My son Joshua and I were out for a morning walk along the beach in front of my home when suddenly the sea began to race in. Within minutes the ocean became threatening. The tide had risen well beyond the high water mark. At that instant it became apparent the Tsunami that had started nearly 4,000 miles away far across the Indian Ocean would impact us as well. In less than 12 hours the Tsunami had finally reached the coast of Africa from its point of origin in Banda Aceh.

We ran from the beach back to my house where my sister and her children were waiting for us. They were all crying having just seen on television the haunting images of the devastating Indian Ocean Tsunami. Although we escaped the waves, a one year old hippopotamus 80 kilometers away was not as lucky.

Just before Christmas the unseasonably heavy rains near Malindi town washed a family of hippopotamuses down the Sabaki River and out to sea. The residents of the town tried in vain to urge the family back up the estuary. When the Tsunami hit Malindi, the sea turned angry, the sky clouded over and for a moment the hippos disappeared and were forgotten as all efforts went to rescuing the stranded fishermen.

The next day only one hippo could be seen. It was the baby and he was stranded on the reef. Hundreds of people came to watch the efforts to rescue the hippo. It took ropes, boats, nets and cars --though the hippo was tired he was still fast and slippery. It took a brave rugby tackle to finally capture him, and the cheering of the crowd could be heard over a kilometer away.

Lafarge Eco Systems agreed to provide a home for the baby hippo and I rushed to Malindi to collect him. Tangled in fishing ropes, angry and tired, the hippo did not seem to appreciate our rescue at all. As we left for Mombasa, the crowd unanimously agreed to name him 'Owen' in honor of the volunteer who tackled him to the ground.

Exhausted, confused and extremely frightened, Owen immediately ran to the safety of a giant tortoise when we released him in Haller Park. Mzee, our 130 year old tortoise, just happened to be nearby and he was very surprised by Owen's odd behavior cowering behind him as a baby hippo does to its mother. Mzee quickly came to terms with his new friend and even returned signs of affection. The unusual relationship between this baby hippo and the ancient tortoise amazed people the world over and has featured in most countries on television and in news papers.

Owen and Mzee continue to spend their days together in the pond, feeding and patrolling. Owen nudges Mzee to come for walks, and Mzee sometimes even follows Owen. Hundreds of people have witnessed this incredible spectacle first hand at Haller Park which is open every day to the public. Owen will eventually be moved to a bigger pond in Haller Park were he can socialize with other hippos.

now i can clearly say,
NONE of my guy friends at school,
are my true friends,
they are just touch & go friends.
when they need you,
they contact you,
and when they don't,
they will just chuck you aside.
i felt just like a key,
for you to open and close
this door of friendship.

does true friends really exist in the world?
my answer now is no.
friends will never be there for you forever,
when trouble arises,
they will all be gone,
the only one that will be by your side
no matter what happens is
FAMILY!!

He is a person i would want you all to know,
he is a person worth respecting,
he finds strength to carry on life with GOD,
philippians 4:13 says (it's a passage in the bible)
‘I can do everything through him who gives me strength.’
He does have any arms or legs
all he have was his "chicken wing"
(the thing,he used to wave at the audience)
to carry on with life.
Many times I felt depressed and angry because
I couldn’t change the way I was,
or blame anyone for that matter.
In Sunday school,
I learned that God loves us all and that
He cares for us deeply.
At that stage in my childhood,
I could understand His love to a point.
But, as you can imagine,
I still got hung up on that fact that if he really loved me,
why did He make me like this?
I wondered if I’d done something wrong
and began to feel certain that this must be true.
Otherwise, I thought,
God wouldn’t have made me the
only weird one out of all the kids at school.
Feeling I was a burden to those around me,
I sensed the sooner I’d just go away altogether,
the better it would be for everyone. So, at a young age,
I wanted to end my pain and my life.
But I am thankful, once again,
for my parents and my family
who were always there to comfort me and
lend me their strength.
Thankfully, a real turning point arrived!
Let's praise GOD for a man like him.
And remember the last quote:
"Even if you fail 100 times,
you still have to try more in order to succeed."

PETALING JAYA: A powerful earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale struck off the city of Padang off the coast of southern Sumatra at about 6.17pm o

n Wednesday, killing at least 21 people, trapping thousands of others and causing tremors as far away as peninsular Malaysia and Singapore.

The earthquake which damaged houses, brought down bridges and buildings and caused fires in Padang, also caused people to evacuate buildings in various towns and cities in Malaysia.

The epicentre of the quake was about 481km southwest of Kuala Lumpur.

At 6.38pm, a temblor measuring 5.5 in magnitude was also recorded 11km north of Padang.

In SINGAPORE, residents from Toa Payoh, Woodlands, Bukit Timah, Simei and Kembangan in the eastern part, reported tremors shaking their buildings, The Straits Times reported.

it's a global sport,

which can be played at

singaporeans even use water bottles
as replacement of a soccer balls

in an alley,soccer can be played at a field,

maybe a beach

or even a swamp :Deven in the most unexpected places. to play soccer you need to have a team of at least 11 people.
but a team may consist of more than 11 players,
as the other can be substitudes for those whom are injured.
playing street soccer there may be 5 more less people in each team.

they will chase the ball

and kick it into the goal post which is the back of the net

or even onto a wall...

soccer are for those who are young,

It has been sometime since i blog.
just wanna post about something i feel.
what is it with MOODSWINGS?
they say only girls have moodswing is that true?
my answer is no.
i hate it when people have those feelings including me.
the other party who are not getting the moodswing,
would always end up feeling guilty for what he/she have done.
everyone seems to be getting those feelings nowadays.
a person may be smilling and within a split second,
he or she might put on a sad and even walk away.
i had in during this week,
my mood suddenly just change
when i heard about my exams results.
(thanks to my friends for being there for me)
really didn't have mood to do anything after that.
you just feel like being alone

The two-foot teenager: Jyoti, the world's smallest girl!!

Her tiny form is disarming.
But Jyoti Amge's dreams are as big as those of her friends.
At 15 she stands just 1ft 11Â½in tall and weighs less than a stone,
giving her one very big claim to fame -
as the smallest girl in the world.
Doctors believe Jyoti is a pituitary dwarf
but have never been able to pinpoint her condition.
Such dwarfism is caused when the body
fails to produce enough growth hormone.

Jyoti, centre, with some of her classmates - also aged 15.
Her little grey uniform is specially made for
her Specialists have told her she will remain
the same size for the rest of her life.
'When I was three I realised that
I was different to the rest of the kids,' she said..
'I thought that everyone was bigger and I should get bigger too.'
Jyoti has her own mini grey uniform and school bag and even a tiny desk..
But she looks like a doll next to her teenage classmates.
She said: 'I am proud of being the smallest girl.
I love all the attention I get.
I'm not scared of being small,
and I don't regret being small.

She works from her custom made chair and
table but her pens and books are still rather too large for her
'I am sure there are many people
in this world who are dwarfs like me.
'I'm just the same as other people.
I eat like you, dream like you.
I don't feel any different.' Weighing 12lb
- only 9lb more than her weight at birth,
Jyoti dreams of becoming an actress.
Despite her size she insists on living as normal a life as possible
in her home town of Nagpur in India - including going to the local school.
'When I first went to school everyone was so big I used to get scared
but I'm okay now, I like it.
I have a different desk and chair that were made for me.
I'm a normal student.'
Jyoti with a family friend - who, at 13 months,
is already bigger than she is She is also like any other teenage girl.
'I have a huge collection of dresses.
I like to shop for more. Everyone in my family gets things for me.
I love make-up and like dressing up like beautiful models.
I would like to be an actress when I grow up.
My dream is to do films.'
Jyoti has already had a taste of fame in a pop video for Indian star Mika Singh.
'They asked her to appear in the video for a song on his album,'
said her mother Ranjana Amge, 45.
However, Jyoti's dreams of stardom could be ruined because
of fractures to both her legs that have never healed
because of problems with her size.

Jyoti is taken to school on
brother Satish's motorbike,
along with sister Archana 'First I could walk,
but I slipped on ice during a holiday and hurt my leg.
I find it strange that my legs just don't heal.
I don't like it,it causes me pain.' Mrs Amge said:
'No-one knows why she is so small.
Jyoti is small, yet cute, and we love her very much.
'People in the region of India where
the family live flock to see the teenager
and some even treat her as a goddess.
She receives a lot of support from her brother and two sisters.
Oldest sister Archana, 25, said:
'I have been taking care of her since she was a small baby.
She is so delicate and fragile.'
During her first five years of life,
brave Jyoti was in and out of hospital as she constantly fell sick,
but eventually she grew stronger.
The teenager's father Kishan Amge, 52, a construction worker, said:
'She makes me proud. Lots of saints and spiritual gurus come to see and bless her.
They pray for her happiness and long life.'

i had some sleepless night this week,

just alot of things have happend,

and i have been thinking about them throughout the night.

i even have to do my dnt until i slept.anyway today will be blogging about SLEEP :D

some people have nice and comfortable bed

to sleep and dream or even drool in.

but some people are just not as lucky.

they just find spot around the world to sleep.

even on the road. or even a back ally. some people may sleep together with friends,
at least they still have friends to be with them. some just sleep alone. anyway why does some people still feel

that they don't wanna sleep?

by drinking coffee and tea?

or maybe even teh tarik :D

they will have dark circles

& like me as i got dark circles too :D

got sell big cup of ice cream,

and it cost only $19.90

going there on saturday to check it out ;DIce cream or ice-cream is a frozen dessert

usually made from dairy products.

such as milk and cream.

now i think i going crazy for that ice cream.

will be running there to get my ice cream ;D

i have many experience with pets,

for example fishes,hamsters to dog.

in my opinion,DOG is the BEST!!

she was the closes thing to me,

her breed is a miniature poodle.

when she was around,

but now she's gone,

i feel very empty D:

i hope i would have

what's your favourite slacking place? mine would be lying down on the grass
while looking at the stars.
the best would be star gazing,
in a clear night,full of stars
when there are no clouds
covering my vision of the stars. in total there are 88 official constellations.
but when i look at the sky at night.
i can only see stars and more stars=x
i can't figure out how they see these constellations.
can anyone teach me? :D
sometimes you could even see a shooting star!! most people believe that

when a wish is made during a scene of a shooting star,

it will come true,what do you thing? anyway a star is a massive, luminous ball of plasma
that is held together by gravity.

What's a zebra?

a horse or maybe a donkey?

i watch a show on channel 5 today,

the zebra is being outcast by the other race horse

but it has a passion,

a passion for running!

just because of his stripes?

have you ever think that,

it looks like a white horse with blacks stripes,

or even a black horse with white stripes?

we are like the race horse.

we judge people just,

because of their colour of the skin.

the zebra in the show has a passion to run.

he was criticized by all the other race horse.

he wanted to gave up,

but his coach(which was a dwarf minituare horse)

he too had a passion for running when he was younger,

he took part in races even when his short small legs.

he had a passion for running and he fulfilled it.

the zebra than have the confidence to race,

in the end he won them and prove to them,

not only a race horse can run fast.

do not think about what people thinks of you,

just achieve your passion,

no matter how impossible it may be!!

saw a video of this 11 years old boy,
he has only 2 more week to live,
because he suffered from leukemia.
it's terrible diesea which is fatal.
if you had only 2 weeks to live,
what will you wish for?
Mine is to have the largest gathering
and invite all my friends i know to the gathering.
i will than tell them not to worry,
as this is GOD's plan for me to die.
i'm going to a better place :D
what did that boy wished for?
to help the poor people
living in his state.
for example feeding the homeless,etc.
he's some who have changed people's life,
just by giving his last wish to helping people.

there is also a song sang by micheal jackson.
the song title is the man in the mirror.
i think i heard it in LIA 2 years ago,
it talks about if you want to change the world,
firstly it starts with chaging yourself.

when your dad taught you something?
mine was cycling.
i still remember that he would run beside my bike,
and when i fell with brushes,
he was there to pick me up.
i just viewed a video about

The father who despite having a heart condition, said, "Yes".

today wake up by mum at 6am.
after bathe everything than
remembered it was tuesday,

say school start at 8.30 ask me run or what.

Exco's bbq at my hse!!

My Exco life!

I still remember when
I step into the Exco board in June 2008.
Thanks to Rachel,
Once again thanks a lot.
I have to thank the 6th batch too,
As without them I would have my journey as an Exco.
It was last year when I and sufian had our nationals,
We had our 100m heats,
Than we went back to school in sufian's father taxi.
We went backstage and we changed like crazy=x
After that rushed out to stage,
(Still remembered i stood at the wrong marking,
Even happened twice =x)
Everyone was laughing and i bet their hearts were thinking
How can kendrick be an Exco?
I felt like an image spoiler for the Exco board,
When I was with the Excos it really felt very weird,
As in the past the usual people
The usual people I hang out with are totally different from the Excos.
The Exco were the "guai" type
While people I hang out with were the "not so guai" type?
This marked the start of my journey as an Exco
With people I really disliked=x
The 3 teacher keep telling us to bond
But i found it very difficult as my peers
Has kept telling me about their bad points,
How foolish was I to be consumed by their words
And not see the true colors’ of the Exco board.
I’m really sorry for not getting to each and every one of you sooner.
I have really really really regretted as time cannot be rewind.
What has past, is already the past.
I cannot rewind time…
I still remember the first outing to East Coast Park,
During that time I felt that being with you guys are disgraceful,
So I went out with this girl followed by
Going to find the usual people I hang out with at Sentosa.
As I look back at that East Coast outing,
I can’t find any picture of mine,
How I wish I wasn’t that dumb during than to not go to that outing.
But it’s too late now, ya?
After that was OBS camp,
That was the time when I felt that the boys in Exco board were useless.
I think the girls should remember this
As someone changed their tent and gave them a lousy tent
Which is very dirty, it was the day of kayaking to this site
And it was raining very heavily and our moods were damped.
Still this happen which made my mood even worst.
It was than I hate the boys in Exco board.
The next thing is primary school orientation,
Still I hated it Exco and nothing has changed=x
One day I had a talk with Mr sharil
And he told me to step down earlier,
As my academic result were really unacceptable,
I was the first Exco in Evergreen history which drop from express to Na
It was than which hit me,
(this is what I have been hiding for you guys,sorry)
I really want to enjoy my time left,
I cried on that day as I really can’t bare to part with you guys,
I really didn’t know why either,
So I cherish every second with you guys.
It was the time when everything changed.
Finally I look at each Exco with a different perspective,
Only true friends stick with you thought thick and thin
and they are really hard to find.
The 7th batch Excos are examples of true friends,
as they stood by me since the day I became an Exco.
Even though I let them down and tried to avoid them,
They kept trying to get close to me,
I didn’t know why until prefects camp
when my eyes truly opened.
I’m sorry for being so blind for the past 4months.
When I met Mrs lim the vice principal,
She told me that I have drop to NA
And my parents told her about the Exco thingy,
She agreed to give me a chance.
Than it was trip to Mount K.K,
Didn’t think it was for the Exco to bond?
As we were all in different groups,
Maybe to bond with our peer leaders?
So I waited for the next event.
After that was prom night,
Tired my best to laugh and
Have fun with every single one of them
And most of all i danced all my trouble away that night…
That was all in my mind during prom night.
Soon prefect camp came,
We planned event together and
I was glad Mrs lim have gave me that chance,
Without it I would have stepped down
After Prefects camp and become a normal prefect…
But in the end my Exco journey continued for 4 more months,
They were a rewarding 4 months,
After that we went to Sentosa to celebrate Christine’s birthday
I really had fun that day although the location wasn’t as nice as before
Due to the party the day before…
In the end we still had fun didn’t we?
i was glad i went to that outing,as i miss the first one
i wouldn't miss the second one even if you kill me!
We had our Sec one orientation and our LIA camp.
I tried my best to do everything I can for the Exco board,
LIA camp was the last big project we did together,
I gave in my all to pass my experience to my group,
Hope they would be as foolish as me…
Today is the day we finally step down,
Although there was arguments between us,
But it was all resolved in the end.
This journey hadn’t been an easy one for me and the other Excos.
We are always at cross-road - choosing the right path to walk as a leader.
We have walked together;
Some paths lead to a dead end which we had to make a U-turn,
Some paths have obstacles where we help each other to overcome it.
I believe that the 7th batch of Excos and
I have reached a first rest stop of our journey as a leader.
It doesn’t end here;
We will continue walking after a time of well-deserved rest!!
Hope after stepping down we will not be separated
But be as bonded as covalent bond!!

i will do nothing to change each one of you!

you are with me for a reason.
